#MIT

I think this platform, MIT, emphasizes more about professional abilities. And for these who want to learn English, listening is additional. Therefore, I think that MIT is more helpful for those who want to learn professional abilities, knowledge, and those whose English skills are at a specific level.

For me, I like ESL more. The lector speaks slowly, and the vocabularies are more easily and close to our lives. But MIT is opposite. Otherwise, there is a defect about listening. If we can’t hear what the sentence or what the word is, we can’t solve it by ourselves. There are some defects about MIT. Such as, only a few courses with subtitles. And the courses are too long.

But MIT is really a good learning platform. There is almost no difference between MIT and universities. Include lectures, schedule, midterm exam, final exam, etc. And we can learn without stress. The only pity is we can't communicate with the teachers.

#Reflections of Steve Jobs' Talk

After listening and reading the address of Steve Jobs, I still feel that it is just a story of him. It seems not a professional speech . I don't really know what he want to tell us. But he encourage us to do what we want and never give up.

Every time when I read celebrity biographies, I could not believe that these are real story. It's too dramatic. I even think that it would not happen around me forever.

And there are no too many difficult vocabularies. Even those whose English it not good, like me, can read it easily.

what about?

What about Lola - shall we invite her? What about taking a few days off?

※ Comment : I think this learners' dictionary is the most useful for me. You can key in phrases directly. And it won't appear extra words or phrases that you don't need. It can tell you how to use the words or phrases correctly and clearly. And it use different colors distinguish definitions and examples.

I used to translate words in google translator. But it doesn't offer the methods that how to use it. So, after knowing these learners' dictionaries, I could solve many English problems of classes or others now. Such as role play, speeches, and writings etc.

#Greetings

Hello, I am Li. I'm nineteen years old. I was born in Kaohsiung , but I grew up in Pingtung. I live in Yonghe now. I like to watch TV and go shopping . I'm glad to date with everyone. And the are six people in my family, my father, mother , two elder sisters, and a younger brother. My brother is only 8-year-old.
In this class, I hope I can improve all parts of my English. Include writing, speaking , vocabulary, listening, and reading. Especially vocabulary, because it is the basic of English. If I can't do it well, maybe I can't do well in other parts, too. And hope I could have over score 700 of TOEIC before I graduate. And I could chat with everyone in English, too. Finally, I hope everyone in class can have fun.
