I think this platform, MIT, emphasizes more
about professional abilities. And for these who want to learn English, listening
is additional. Therefore, I think that MIT is more helpful for those who
want to learn professional abilities, knowledge, and those whose English skills
are at a specific level.
For me, I like ESL more. The lector speaks slowly,
and the vocabularies are more easily and close to our lives. But MIT is opposite.
Otherwise, there is a defect about listening. If we can’t hear what the sentence
or what the word is, we can’t solve it by ourselves. There are some defects about
MIT. Such as, only a few courses with subtitles. And the courses are too long.
But MIT is really a good learning platform.
There is almost no difference between MIT and universities. Include lectures, schedule,
midterm exam, final exam, etc. And we can learn without stress. The only pity is
we can't communicate with the teachers.
